Here’s a Toys R Us commercial that is an advertisement for the Nintendo Entertainment System(NES). This little boy has a dream of getting a Nintendo for only 79.97. Is this a better dream than winning the Super Bowl? Probably not but it comes really close. This commercial is an oldie but it shows that most little boys wanted a Nintendo when it first hit the shelves.

This NES commerical shows off some the features of the earliest console released by Nintendo, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Look at all the amazing graphics of what an 8-bit system can do. Granted, this commercial was made in the late 80s to early 90s so there wasnt much in terms of amazing graphics being produced in that time-frame. This commercial sure takes you back to the glory days of Nintendo when they dominated the video game market.

A 6th grader writers a letter to Nintendo wanting a Nintendo DS. She asked her parents for one but I suspect that they couldn’t afford to get here one. Remember the classic Anticipation commercial? Nintendo branded this game as “Nintendo’s first video board game”. If you get a letter incorrect, you get a strike. And you know the old rule, 3 strikes and your out. If no one can answer the puzzle, then it will show you what the puzzle is and let you return to the board menu so you can pick another puzzle to try your luck at. This is, without a doubt, the best shape we have seen a Nintendo Zapper in. This zapper is in perfect condition with not even a scratch on it. I can remember sitting in front of the NES playing Duck Hunt for hours thinking it was the coolest game ever with the best accessory for the Nintendo Entertainment System ever made by my side, six shooter style. I’m sure looking at this Nintendo Zapper picture sure will bring back a lot of memories for you too.
