The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past was one of the finest Super Nintendo Entertainment System games ever created as you can see by this A Link to the Past intro. Link was off on his first SNES adventure to save Hyrule and rescue Princess Zelda and the Triforce from the evil Wizard Gannon who broke the sacred seal of the Seven Wise Men. In this adventure, Link must travel in both the Light and the Dark World and become the hero he was destined to be.

If you ever wanted to see what Link would look like on a shirt, now is your chance. This is the original Legend Of Zelda shirt. This shirt resembles Link when he stared in his first adventure for the NES almost 25 years ago. Nintendo sure has come a long way with The Legend of Zelda series in 25 years. Link is the hero in The Legend of Zelda and every new game that Nintendo releases in this series gets more and more interesting.

Link is back for an all-new Zelda adventure in Spirit Tracks for the Nintendo DS. He is battling new enemies and it’s getting harder and harder as you progress though this game to get to the end. This game marks the 15th game that Nintendo has produced and released in The Legend of Zelda series. Chancellor Cole wants to bring the Demon King back to life and it’s up to you to stop him and save Princess Zelda.

Take a look at the all powerful Legend of Zelda gold cartridge. How this cartridge got turned gold is beyond me. Maybe it was some kind of spell that the evil wizard Gannon put on cartridge to turn it gold. This is truly a limited edition item. The Legend of Zelda was released by Nintendo and produced some of the cartridges with a gold-like paint to them. This is one cartridge that has stood the test of time and is in excellent shape.

This is the Legend of Zelda Plate that was listed for $15000 in a recent eBay auction. This plate is in excellent condition and it is hard to believe it can be in such great shape since this plate was first made in 1989. There is not even a scratch on this plate and it depicts Link battling enemies in the Legend of Zelda which was first released for the NES. A commercial for the original Legend of Zelda that was banned shortly before it aired. I’m not exactly sure why it was banned. At the beginning of the commerical, the young man states: “Woah, nice graphics! I’d like to get my hands on that game.” I’m unclear if that was the controversial statement of if it was the rap in general. Please keep in mind that this commerical was made in the 80′s and the FCC was much stricter on rules of what can be said in a television ad than it is today. Again, this is all speculation by me. Anyway, The Legend of Zelda was a great game!
